This site collects as little as it can. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no fonts or scripts loaded from anyone else's server.

Who is responsible

What is collected, and why

When you use the contact form

Your name, your email address, the optional subject, and your message. They are used for one thing: to read your enquiry and answer it. The message is delivered by email and is not stored in any database.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us. Correspondence is kept as long as it may still be useful — typically two years after the last exchange — then deleted.

When you buy a licence

Your name, email address, billing details and, where applicable, your VAT number. They are needed to perform the contract, to issue the invoice and to deliver the file. Accounting records are kept for seven years, as Belgian law requires. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.

When you simply read the site

No account is created, no cookie is set, and nothing identifies you. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs — IP address, page requested, timestamp — for security and to keep the site running. That is standard for any web server, and those logs are not used to build a profile of you.

Who else sees it

Only the providers needed to run the site, and only for that purpose:

• Cloudflare hosts these pages and serves them.
• Resend delivers the messages sent through the contact form, and the download links and licences sent after a purchase.
• Stripe handles payments. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach us.
• Our accountant, for the invoices the law requires us to keep.

They act on our instructions and for nothing else. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for advertising, and there is no analytics or advertising provider on this site at all.

Some of these providers operate outside the European Union. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the safeguards allowed by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You may ask what data is held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, obtain a copy, or object to its use. Just ask — get in touch, or write to yves.paternoster@faseo.be. We will answer within a month.

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.

Changes

If the site starts collecting something it does not collect today — an audience measurement tool, for instance — this page will say so before that happens.
